Barefoot is a fun brand that’s championing the trendy “wine-to-go” products showing up in grocery stores and retailers – in this case, their 8oz cans of spritzers and sangria flavors. Built in partnership with our customer Baer Enterprises, we developed the vintage styled refrigerator and came up with an action plan on how to engineer and manufacture this challenging display.
The steel frame and shelves were built by our metal team utilizing all our skills: cutting the frame tubes with our automated band saw, shape-cutting the shelves on our Amada punch, welding certain sections manually as well as with our Fanuc welding arm, shaping the rails with our CNC wire bender, then on to our deburring team for final prep before powder coating the chrome finish. The exterior parts were all molded plastic that then got wet-painted custom purple and metallic silver, with plotted vinyl logo elements applied to the face. The finishing touch was the application of the clear acrylic formed dispensary for product cans.
Advoque handled all aspects of production and distribution, right in the middle of thirty other projects, all running at once. Controlled chaos is the only clear descriptor for how we built this fixture!
